Heart Healthy | Low Iodine | Low Fat | Home Meal Replacement (HMR)

 

Heart Healthy diets are still delicious!  Menus are developed using fiber-rich foods (whole grains, legumes, and nuts) as the main source of carbohydrates, along with an intake of fruit and vegetables while incorporating soy proteins and/or smaller portions of saturated fats, like poultry and fish instead of red meat.  Trans fatty acids should be avoided all together.
